Many beings are too afraid to get lost in the woods and have left their nation alone for the most part. Many medicinal curatives are found here.

This known fact alone keeps their nation mostly isolated. They prefer to keep it that way as they are mostly smaller rodent creatures living here; rabbits, mice, badgers, voles, ducks.

Similar to Lueon, they are very faithful to the King. They have a natural strength in the Magic of Jatali because of their faith. It protects them from many hazards and outsiders. They often trade and share knowledge with Lueon. The main drawback to their alliance is that due to most of their beings live underwater it causes communication to be delayed. They revere the Knights greatly and are more than happy to help in anyway they can.

Their land may seem small compared to other countries but the rest of their nation is underwater in the Sparkling Sea. It stretches from there all the way to the Great Sea and Dutroh Ocean. The underwater castle is called Vaytum. They’ve used their magic so that any being who wants to live in the sea with them can breathe and travel without restriction.

Most natives dream of becoming Knights for the High Kingdom, but those that don’t become warriors usually become coal/oil/stone miners. Fishing is also a respectable job to their kind. It’s all rough work so the appeal to be a warrior in the Kingdom is apparent.

They have many fortresses and all of their beings go through a basic training so they can defend themselves even if they never become part of the official army or navy. Most of the natives are friendly and take great joy in helping others. There is a legend in their land about the fallen King of Okouveh. A bedtime story told to little cubs to behave or the rotten King may just snatch them away in the mid-day sun.

They are a divided kingdom. Many don’t think the young queen is qualified to rule but they have exceptional support from Jatali. Luckily, Esakivh is peaceful towards them but there are still border issues caused by Zutaom.

Their territory is lush with dense forests. They offer wood to the other nations. They also have plenty of gems for jewelry and thus are rich in that way. Their populous has such confidence in Jatali’s rule that they spend most of their time playing and enjoying themselves. They aren’t worried about the Drake’s expansion into their neighboring lands at all.

They have a resort to the north called Sunrise Shore. It’s a place where many gather from all over.
To the south is the Bromrah Wilds, it is a terrible and forbidden place. Unlike the enchanted forest of Rusim, these trees are diseased and will actively attack travelers. Many beings have been lost in the woods and there are rumors that their souls get trapped there. Stuck in that evil place.

Fisherman heavy area, similar to Sekulan it is a breeding ground for beings who want to hide their dark past. This is part of where the division starts. Before the split of the Great Sea, this territory was a flourishing Savannah. The terrain here is now marsh/swampland as the Abyss of Garaev slowly swallows more land.

The Endless Burning Desert is like the fatal wound on the continent that reaches ever further into their lands. They either have a merciless desert to try and live in while the swamp causes more of the land to sink. This causes further discourse and pressure on the citizens to survive.

Many semi-aquatic animals make their home here. But due to the rough nature of the locals, it’s more like individuals and others who want to be left alone. If you have a dark past you want to bury, then Zutaom is the place to go. The Drake has set up most of his operations to be handled through this country. A long time ago the Drake was from another land before he committed his soul to the shadows.

This is the main training grounds for Zutaom’s army. The land here used to be wide open savannah but now it is slowly turning into swamp land. The Turnback River has split them away from the rest of the Eastern Continent.

The two beings that rule over this nation will stop at nothing to keep themselves in power. They have aligned themselves with the Drake. Many of this nation have been led astray by them and now pledge allegiance to the Drake.

The farms and orchards here are worked by Guthian natives and those who have dishonored the Zutaomese Army. They have also siphoned many of Esakivh’s resources through raids on their land and by attacking their ships.

Dominant Species: gryphons (eagle-like, hawk-like, etc), other larger birds; bears, and deer (Guth natives) , oxen, and sheep/goats (Esakivh natives)

Nationality Name: Taphi

Their ruler is often usurped. Since they are all selfish and aggressive they all have to watch their back. Whoever is the new ruler of a faction, will keep their beings close. Although rulers change often, it doesn’t seem to affect much. They don’t respect whoever’s in charge unless they mount an attack against a town. So in a way it’s a fragile anarchy. Tiphan-rah has ruled the longest and is the most feared gryphon king thus far. Unlike the rulers before him the gryphons actually obey him and have a great fear of his authority.

Their land is a mix of mountain peaks and lush, dense farmland. They are not farmers but hire outside help usually from the Nations of Esakivh or Guth. They’ve enriched themselves with many spices, oils and herbs. They have rich food and many delicacies. Since their commodities are so rare they have been able to build up wealth over the other nations. They also have bountiful gems and treasures in their mountain pass/caves. Dominant Species: gazelle, ibex, camel, fox, other desert and savannah animals

Nationality Name: Nidahmaic

Many of these animals fled Zutaom when it started to become a swamp.
Since they don’t respect the rule of Jatali, they have a Council of Elders and defer to one great elder who’s been around the longest. Their terrain is wide open Savannah. But in most recent years due to the divisions between nations, their land has become drier and water and food are scarce. Much of their land has been absorbed into the Endless Burning Desert.

Unlike the traditional stereotype, these deer are tough. They are aggressive fighters and have many tunnels and cave systems to hide away in. They are crafty and skilled in the ways of surviving in the dessert and making weapons on the fly.

Incredibly fast and skilled in many physical ways. They even have their own style of fighting. They tend to stay cloistered and don’t like sharing this knowledge with “outsiders” even though they are supposed to be one Kingdom.

They don’t need much to survive and don’t obey the rule of the Kingdom Jatali. In fact they are very hostile to Knights in particular. They will do anything and everything to preserve their way of life. The only nation they are neutral with is the Sekulan as they respect their fighter spirit.

Ikouvan

The Land of the great birds

Ruler: Two brothers who both claim King
Capital:  Seoyeh

Ports: Zehrus

Other Cities: (7)

Key Locations:

They are scholarly similar to Deleon, and Lueon. The goods they sell are primarily book, paper, and other handiwork supplies. They have precious stones from their mountain caves. They also have a school but it’s less prominent than the main one in Deleon.

Their terrain is a mix of dessert edges, with rocky cliff faces for the schools, and a little bit of town. The town is a hub for tourists as well. They have many giftshops with trinkets that are watered down versions of their beliefs.

Their school is also what you would consider “alternative thought”. Much of what they teach is directly against the Kingdom of Jatali while claiming that it’s in line completely.

Esakivh

The Land of sun and song

Ruler: Council of Citizens
Capital:  Wetiv

Ports:  Oserin, Mataev

Other Cities: (4)

Key Locations:

  • Hevim Caves

Alliances: Jatali, Mutamay, Guth

Oceans: To the South is the Esoyeh Tides and the Turnback River is to the East

Dominant Species: bull, ox, goat, sheep, pig, other farm animals

Nationality Name: Esakivhians

This is largely a nation of farmers. This is also a place many will move to if they want to forget their past. They work the land tirelessly for the support of the other nations. They have bountiful vegetation and staple products for almost every kind of meal plate.

They work so hard they often times don’t have any room for fun. They follow all traditions and holidays of Jatali but have lost the overall spirit of what those traditions mean. Before the spilt of the continent they were a nation full of fun and joy. The liveliest bunch you’d ever meet.

Since the Drake has taken over the Eastern Continent, the food supply has been slowed and in many cases completely cut off. Many nations have had to find alternative ways to grow food do to this issue.
